Freshwater and estuarine ecology to protect our waterways

About

James is Senior Lecturer in aquatic ecology at the School of Life Sciences, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. His work specialises in revealing how humans are impacting freshwater and estuarine ecosystems and what we can do to restore and protect them. His current work focuses on environmental flows and modelling food webs in Australia’s Murray-Darling Basin, understanding the impacts of cold water pollution, and revealing the environmental drivers and ecosystem impacts of microplastics in estuaries.
